A house was built for a poor family by reducing the wedding expenses

The money saved by reducing the wedding expenses of his son was handed over to build a house for a poor family. A Jamaat-e-Islami member from Thrissur’s Mathilakam area donated the money saved by reducing the wedding expenses of his son to the activities of the house built for a poor family jointly by the People’s Foundation and the Jamaat-e-Islami Punnakuru unit.

Jamaat-e-Islami District President K.K. Shanavas handed over the cheque to People’s Foundation Project Director T. Ismail. At a function held at the Punnakuru Thanal Cultural Center, Jamaat-e-Islami Area President Adv. T.K. Zakir Hussain presided over the function. People’s Foundation Area Coordinator Saeed Nedumparamba welcomed the gathering and Zakir Master proposed the vote of thanks. Wahid Master, Rasheed Punnilathu Thamarakulam, Muhammed Kunji Vaippipadath, Rafi Vaippipadath, Ashraf, Unnikrishnan, Ibrahim Kutty and others were present.
