Food kits were distributed to families affected by the rains in Kasarkod district, Periya Chengara village under the auspices of the People Foundation. Pullur Periya Panchayat President CK Aravindan inaugurated the event by handing over a food kit to People Foundation District Coordinator Sajeer Kallingal. He also informed that the panchayat will provide all possible support to the activities of the People Foundation for the upliftment of the residents of Chengara village. The food kit distribution was carried out as part of the monsoon kit project implemented in areas of the state affected by the rains.
