Foundation stone laid for Kanivu People’s Care Centre

The foundation stone of the Kanivu People’s Care Centre, which is being built near Kozhikode Medical College under the the People’s Foundation, was laid. The centre is being built nearest medical college. The project envisages providing accommodation at low cost to patients and their caregivers who are not admitted to Kozhikode Medical College for long-term treatment, a medical guidance centre that provides advice on specialist treatment available at a reasonable cost, and a pharmacy that provides medicines and medical equipment at low cost. People will be able to get information about various medical assistance schemes implemented by government and non-government organizations to raise funds for treatment through the People’s Care Center.

Minar Group of Companies MDA A. Muhammed Shafi performed the foundation stone laying ceremony. People’s Foundation Chairman P.I. Noushad presided over the function. People’s Foundation Project Director K. Abdurahim explained the scheme. Kozhikode Corporation Councilor E.M. Soman, Ethical Medical Forum State President Dr. Muhammad Ismail, Jamaat-e-Islami Kozhikode District General Secretary R.K. Abdul Majeed, Kozhikode City Secretary Ashkar, CH Center President K.P. Koya, Helping Hand Charitable Trust Secretary Naufal Paris, Sahay Wadisalaam Secretary Shamsuddin Peruvayal, Jamaat-e-Islami Women’s Wing Kozhikode District President Ayesha Habib, and People’s Foundation Secretary Ayyub Tirur spoke. Kaniv People’s Care Center Chairman Dr. P. C. Anwar welcomed the gathering, and Kanivu Charitable Trust Chairman V.P. Basheer concluded.
