Panamaram People’s Village celebrated its fifth anniversary

The fifth anniversary of the Panamaram People’s Village, built by the People’s Foundation as part of the 2018-2019 flood rehabilitation project, was celebrated. The ceremony held at the village ground was inaugurated by I.C. Balakrishnan MLA. People’s Foundation District Chairman T.P. Yunus presided over the function.

The People’s Village, built in Neerattadi, Panamaram Panchayat as part of the flood rehabilitation project, includes 25 houses, a health center and a community center. The celebration was organized under the leadership of the families of the village on the fifth anniversary. Panamaram Panchayat President Lakshmi Alukkamuttam delivered the keynote address. People’s Foundation District Coordinator C.K. Semir, T. Khalid, P. Shanavas and Sarfina Jamal spoke. Rajan Malarvadi welcomed the gathering and K. Muralidharan gave the vote of thanks. People’s Foundation Project Director T.K. Suhair, Riyasu and Faisal led the way. Famous mimicry star Ummer Muttil performed mimicry. T.P. Yunus inaugurated the medicinal garden built in the People’s Village.
