Land has been distributed to the homeless people of 10 local bodies, beneficiaries of Life Mission in Kannur district.
Jamaat-e-Islami Kerala Ameer P. Mujeeb Rahman said that we have a responsibility to ensure the facilities of life for everyone. He also reminded that we will achieve success in life only when we fulfill that duty to the society. He was inaugurating the distribution of land to 104 homeless people of 10 local bodies, beneficiaries of Life Mission in Kannur district, at Thaliparambi. Kannur Corporation Deputy Mayor Adv. P. Indira, Taliparamba Municipality Vice Chairman Kallikkal Padmanabhan, and Valapattanam Panchayat President P.P. Shamima received the land documents.

People’s Foundation Chairman P.I. Noushad presided over the function. Secretary Ayyub Tirur received the documents from Jose Kolliyil and Ashraf Taliparamba, who had given the new land to the People’s Foundation. Rasheed KP, Area Coordinator of the People’s Foundation, was honored at the function. Vyapaari Vyasayi Ekopana Samiti Taliparamba President K.S. Riyas, Adv. S. Mammu, Municipality Councilor Sabita, and Valapattanam VEO Sunanda spoke. Jamaat-e-Islami Kannur District President P.K. Muhammed Sajid welcomed the gathering and People’s Foundation District Coordinator C.P. Abdul Jabbar expressed his vote of thanks.
