As part of the Community Empowerment Project implemented by the People’s Foundation in the coastal and hilly backward areas, the Sea-Rise Community Empowerment Project has been launched in Kattippara, a hilly area of Kozhikode district. Jamaat-e-Islami Kerala Ameer P. Mujeeb Rahman announced the project.
Jamaat-e-Islami Kerala Ameer P. Mujeeb Rahman said that it is a social responsibility to find solutions to the pressing problems of the common people. He was speaking after announcing the Sea-Rise Community Empowerment Project, which is being implemented under the auspices of the People’s Foundation with the aim of empowering the hilly and coastal areas of Kozhikode district, in Kattippara.
Social justice can be implemented only if all sections of the people work creatively to create an environment where they can live with dignity. He said that the development of the health, education and psychological levels of the vulnerable is of utmost importance and scientific and timely intervention is essential to create a favorable environment for this. The Sea-Rise Community Empowerment Project, which is being implemented with public support, is a part of this, he said. The Sea-Rise logo was released by Adv. P.T.A. Rahim MLA.
People’s Foundation Vice Chairman M. Abdul Majeed explained the scheme. Jamaat-e-Islami District President Faisal Paingotai presided over the event. Koduvally Block Panchayat President K.M. Ashraf, Kattippara Grama Panchayat President Premji James, Kaniv Trust Chairman V.P. Bashir, Ward Members T.P. Muhammad Shahim, Jinsi Thomas, Zainaba Nasser, Welfare Party District President T. K. Madhavan, Jamaat-e-Islami Women’s Wing District President Suhara Mansoor, S.I.O. District President Shafaq Kakkodi, M.A. Yusuf Haji, T. Muhammad Sharif and K. Abdullah spoke. C.
