People’s Foundation Vice Chairman M Abdul Majeed handed over the keys of four houses built in Iriveri, Kannur district, to Chembilode Grama Panchayat President V.P. Shaija and Panchayat Member K. Shaima. A safe house will ensure social security and confidence for the family and pave the way for a dignified life by overcoming poverty and hardship. He said that such philanthropic projects become a reality when the rich support the rich and pool various resources. Chembilode Grama Panchayat President V.P. Shaija inaugurated the program. Jamaat-e-Islami Kannur District President T.K. Muhammadali presided over the function. Panchayat member K Shaima, Dr. K.P Abdul Gafoor, K.K. Faisal, M Mustafa Master, Ashokan Master, Arshana Teacher, and others spoke. Jamaat-e-Islami District General Secretary E. Abdul Salam welcomed the gathering, and People’s Foundation Area Coordinator V.V. Siddique proposed the vote of thanks.
