Self-employment scheme for bedridden patients with spinal cord injuries has been launched

Social responsibility of engaging paraplegic patients – N. Shamsuddin MLA:
N. Shamsuddin MLA said that engaging paraplegic patients with spinal cord injuries and bedridden patients is the responsibility of the entire society. He was conducting the state-level announcement, family gathering and inauguration of the ‘Uyare’ self-employment scheme implemented by the People’s Foundation to provide relief to bedridden patients with spinal cord injuries. The self employment scheme announced by the People’s Foundation for paraplegic patients is a great model. The MLA also said that the benefits of the People’s Village scheme implemented by the People’s Foundation in Kompath, Mannarkad are something that the people of Mannarkad have first-hand experience. There are many paraplegic patients serving in various sectors of the society and the People’s Foundation has started the ‘Uyare’ project to help them, said Jamaat-e-Islami State Secretary Abdul Hakeem Nadvi, who gave the keynote address.

People’s Foundation Vice Chairman M. Abdul Majeed presided over the function. Secretary Ummer Alathur made a project presentation. Block Panchayat President V. Preetha, Mannarkkad Municipality Chairman P. Muhammed Basheer, Municipal Municipality Health Standing Committee Chairman Shefiq Rahman, Ward Councilor Sharafunnisa, Mannarkkad Pain and Palliative Secretary P. Muhammadali Ansari, Trader and Businessman Coordination Committee President Ramesh Poornima, Save Mannarkkad Chairman Firoz Babu, Vlogger Moinuddin, Alanallur Palliative Care Society Chairman E. Sashipal, Kunthipuzha Lions Club Office Bearer Monsi Thomas, Edathanattukara Palliative Care Society Chairman Muhammed Zakir, K.C. Abdurahman, Voice of Mannarkkad Representative Vijayesh spoke. Jamaat-e-Islami District President Kalathil Farooq delivered the concluding speech. People’s Foundation District Coordinator P.S. Abu Faisal welcomed and Program General Convener Muhammed Pakkath expressed the vote of thanks.
