‘Udhiyat-Qurbani’ project brings relief to backward areas

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, the Udhiyat-Qurbani 2025 project implemented by the People’s Foundation in collaboration with the Solidarity Youth Movement in the backward areas of Kerala has brought relief to many families. The project was implemented in areas where it was not possible to be a part of Udhiyat due to financial reasons. The organization was done by the youth of the area where the project is being implemented. 85 cattle were slaughtered in various parts of Kerala. 8146 families benefited from the project. The project was implemented in areas such as families resettled from the Chengara protest land, the Endosulfan-affected area, Achankovil, families of those unjustly imprisoned, Mattancherry, Fort Kochi, etc. Sacrificial meat was also delivered to families in the backward areas of the hilly areas of Idukki and Pathanamthitta districts.
