One Acre land for People’s Foundation to Rehabilitate

Thodupuzha: Abdul Vahid Moulavi of Thiruvananthapuram set an example by donating 1 acre of land for the flood-affected people in the state. Moulavi’s property at Kanhikkuzhi, Idukki, was handed over to the People’s Foundation to construct houses for those who lost their homes in the flood.  “500 houses would be constructed for the rehabilitation of the flood affected people in the state”, said P Mujeeb Rahman, chairman of the People’s Foundation at the event conducted at Kanhikkuzhi.  Moulavi handed over documents of the land to P Mujeeb Rahman.Jamaat e Islami Idukki district president Shahjahan Nadwi, State Secretary T Shakir, Regional PR Secretary Shakeel Muhammed, Secretary Abdul  Haleem, Solidarity district president Abdul Kareem, People’s Foundation district coordinator Dr Hassan, district PR secretary Kasim Moulavi and Rehabilitation Project convenor Ayub Tirur were present at the function.
